Thank you!

I wanted to say thank you for all of the well wishes that I received from so many people while my wife underwent back surgery (note: she is on the road to recovery and is progressing at an amazing rate). 

As the weeks towards the end of the year begin, we will be completing our I.B. self-portraits and one other project. Each year seems to fly by and I hope that we will be able to accomplish all that I have planned. Thank you also for your continued support of the art program at Simis. 

Additionally, this year I will stress the 3 P's (Positive, Present and Principled) in art class. Since our return to normalcy from the unusual happenings of 2020-2021, the art room has progressively gotten louder and many of us have become more distracted. 

It is my hope that this approach will facilitate a much healthier and safer environment in the classroom for students to learn and grow.
