As we enter the end of the 2023-2024 school year, I wanted to thank you also for your continued support of the art program at Simis. I plan on reflecting on the art curriculum of this year and implementing a revised curriculum next year that will address different aspects of art (this may also include changes to my website). Please stay tuned for the changes. 

Additionally, this year I have stressed the Simis Expectations in art class and the needs of each person to be accountable for our own actions and reactions. Since our return to normalcy from the unusual happenings of 2020-2021, the art room has progressively gotten louder and many of us have become more distracted. 

It is my hope that this approach will facilitate a much healthier and safer environment in the classroom for students to learn and grow.
